Tuesday, 30 September 2008. work's out, fun's in. better start enjoying my last bit of holidays before the STRESS enters the brain again. now that i have no more commitment to work, i feel so aimless at home you know. i was so boredddddddd. my internet is down, keeps disconnecting, then there's nothing on teevee. omgawddd, i hate staying at home. i ended up being such a housewife. i pack my table and my bedroom. ironed some clothes. then finally off, i'm out of the house. i think being a housewife is so tough you know. facing the walls of the house 24/7. grrr... i had astons (finally!) everytime its super long queue. sticked with my grilled fish w herbs. the fries are damn goood ! seriously, cheap and good. (: cookie monster mudpie at ICE3 was superb too. it was pouring heavily so the atmosphere was plus plus. haha. oh, and i realised i am friendlier & perhaps more thick skinned as well now. i start talking to random people, in the trains, in the toilets. ohmy, finally meeting up with djade this fri. so much to catch up as well as brainstorm for gems! 2 next semester sure is a killer. my heart skipped a beat; it wasnt supposed to. Labels: childrens day Monday, 29 September 2008. putting aside my erratic diet body system, the continuous road congestions, late nights, getting scanned up and down by your superiors, horrible canteen food, pacing from ritz carlton to millenia walk to marina square in the 2 inch heels and "its winter in singapore" uniform, the exploding yet super heartthrobbing sounds of the vehicles ... I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THE GRAND PRIX ! i was supporting renault and yes, they won. i am happy with the results actually. ferrari is too overly celebrated & they kept making silly mistakes. haha. BUT no doubt, ferrari still have the prettiest cars though. (: i managed to catch the action right from the hotel, i didnt even need tickets please, i was next to the track! lucky. & i went up to the guest lift lobby to watch the cars go by. i think its kind of theurapeutic to see the cars drive past,quite romantic also. imagine with a couple of champagne and the scenic view. omg. hahhahaa. its the last day of work actually. felt quite sad. its like an achievement i survived this one month since i complained & whined from the start. the rules, the restrictions, the perfect behaviour. everything is all over. but we'll meet up so should be fine. (: thank you GROs, its been great joy working with all of you. hope you all will maintain and keep improving the standards. time to catch up on my sleep & get a life. (: Tuesday, 23 September 2008. helllooo. this week is the most horrid shifts and i feel so bad if i were to take off days while the rest are working their asses off. i managed to see some of the F1 drivers, i think its quite cool like from the renault, honda team and all. we get to meet the top guns yo. but i hardly get to work with gwendolyn and alvina. damn sad. ): dun blame me if i get tooo cranky, not a good weeek. F1 is boo boo time. today, i got to go up to check the showrooms. i must say its quite exciting cos first time and i extremely love the rooms at ritz. secretly whipped up my phone camera and started snapping. exclusive. heee. ;D   i'm still fascinated by the absolute vodka collection. love the pretttyyyy bottles. (:  the bath essentials for the suite rooms are from bvlgari, no kidding.    the best part of the ritz room. the views. tmr is back to night shifts again. rarrr. hopefully the company is great so time pass faster. i cant wait for this week to end. grrr. Saturday, 20 September 2008. hello world. this week passed by so quickly. arghh. results was out, i am actually quite pleased with myself. I DIDNT FAIL LAW ! I DONT HAVE TO FORWARD GEMS. i was so freaked out abt these two modules, really a big big sigh of relief. (: next sem will be worst, 2 GEMS! must tell bf and all to pick the super easy kind. LOL. met up with bf ( supposed to be djade) but all NOT FREE. haha. we had baked rice then attempted to do some shopping but TO NO AVAIL. there's like nothing nice to buy, so boring. death race was damn goood, i know its like so long ago already but what to do. i'm married to work. ): been watching lots of dvds too & just lazing around. next would be zodiac. murder thriller. whooots. (: Sunday, 14 September 2008. phew. i havent blog since so long.
my internet is down, the stupid mio is lousy. thank goodness for linksys! feel like some cheapo, stealing people's wireless connection. haha. last week passed really quickly. & tioman was fucking beautiful. its so worth the distance travelled there. i'll try put up some pictures. the food is superb, the scenery is amazing and the company is lovely. it was the first time travelling on my own. like booking our own transport, accommodation and making our own decisions. i must say i am quite proud of myself. lol. i tried snorkelling for the first time, it was so coool. the fishes just swim through you. it started of quite scary cos the currents were really strong, we would drift away. then we had trekking in SLIPPERS to a mini waterfall. the water was good, clean and refreshing. the massage is like much better than the osim chairs! haha. the beach mini-bar we had was interesting. how often would you get to drink under the stars on the beach. one word : EXCEPTIONAL. (: overall, excellent place to go. next time go longer and try fishing, then one day just spend lazing around. thanks for telling me your side of story. i cant help but wonder all the time. i do agree with what its written & surprises. i know its not fair that i use time to determine my decisions, but its something i feel more relieved with. i feel less pressured. perhaps its not the right time. since rather long ago. val fears the wheelchair! haha. jerine is still lazy! haha. but i still love her, meet up soon doll. tapas next round. been stuffing myself with so much good food. fondue at haagen dazs yesterday, mos fries today then macadamia nut gelato with mango sorbet and superb dinner with bum & family. (; next week is going to be great, no rain please no rain. Friday, 5 September 2008.  POOF. first week of work at ritz is done, and i need to amputate my feet. its officially numb and swollen. heels for 9.5 hours is a big no no no ! i'm like limping around. it is that bad. very sore. now i L O V E slippers. (: thank goodness mummy bought the oto feet massager, its my everyday saviour! but still it hurts alot. first few days were still orientation, but thursday was fun, good tips for a first timer, heee! i worked the midnight shift, can get abit lonely and quiet. but we were so busy, time passes rather quickly. samsung group check-ins, thai princess arrival and gala dinner, hi tri ceo group meeting, meryl linch conference still ( been going on for 3 days), UBS dinner, Mitubishi directors meetings, Rabobank regional conference. YES, this is what goes on a regular shift. then again, we still do VVIPs and CLUB VIP check-ins, escort guest, answer enquiries, deliver newspaper. HEELS IS A TORTURE. should invent heels with the comfort of crocs! haha. i realised my life is rather boring. i worked my holidays away. so no life. omg! today was supposed to meet jerine, val and sandra for sushi buffet. but i overslept. i came home this morning at 3 plus. then finally crashed at 5 plus. rarrr. still feel sleeepy. better meet all the lovelies soon, dejade also. ): yay, i hope next week shift wil be better and with the other girls, not by myself again ! hmph. tioman soon! whoooots, hurry book bum. Monday, 1 September 2008. first day at ritz carlton was indeed very exciting and very confusing. the senior staff just kept explaining and explaining, but my head didnt get anything. maybe it takes awhile to get used to it. i did escort guests up the room, like finally know what's my job scope. DO IT ALL. haha. june's gift shop is superr near me,but i cant lunch with her, different dept, different lunch time. ): ate with some other colleague, kind of awkward though. the lunch was good, they have like today's special and many other dishes you can choose from. free flow salad and desset bar! and wide variety of drinks. val will like the potato salad. haha. (: alvina went back home to get her IC, stupid security la, dont know why just cant bend the rules abit, not like ez-link no IC number right ? stupid. then she ended coming for the 3;30 pm shift. poor girl. we woke up sooo early, 5:30AM cos have to be there at 7am, which turned out unneccesary. grrr. got my morning call back again. <3> thank goodness i didnt go. constraint, out of place, uneasy. it would be worst if i dont intend escape. then i rather be a workaholic
