work at sunny holidays ended on 29sept, about 6 months from where i started. it was indeed a very good learning experience, ups and downs whether expected or not. seeing the new batch of interns now learning what i did, it felt that i have accomplished so much from talking to customers, persuading them to buy, then processing the whole entire transaction all by myself. i have gone so far. though we had a much longer learning time, but it has its good ways too cos we tend to have more practice and perhaps lesser mistakes make? true or not everything is over. finally i can conclude that this is my well deserved break. working at a travel agency tempts you to travel all the time as well, bkk, cruise, bkk, macau, hongkong! i must be quite lucky this year. (:

anticipating it for so long, but the last day did have a bit of sore feeling. esp when our boss gave us a personalised towel and his wife gave us a personalised cash card with our photo on it. its these sweet thoughts that made me go awww. my boss cant be any sweeter to make us a certificate of achievement ! so adorable (;


celebrated alvin & weiping's belated birthday at manhattan's fish market! our first time there & the food is not bad, i had the grilled dory fish ( which is better than fish & co's) but J's fish and chips was not as good as fish & co's. but the baked mussels was da bomb. the rich creamy gravy went well with everything! ohoh, but i prefer fish & co's mints! hahaha. we told the staff it was their birthdays so we had a complimentary brownie! & i added the birthday tags which made the brownie very pretty! (:

after dinner, we walked over to settlers at SMU. it was like 9plus 10 yet still so many ppl mugging! sad sad life. haha. we found a cosy spot and tried many new games though i cant remb the name exactly. some duck game which was funny (cos lots of sabotage & revenge!) then some photo hunting game which J and YW rock at it. finally charades - which was very fun! very common game but my first time at it. pretty cool now i really want a game night! hahaha. our time ended at about 12 and luckily cos of the F1, trains extended which means save $$ on cab! yay! (:





not too long ago! djade (-2) met up for some not too bad thai food, had a bad gastric so took shelter at macs. then walked around some auntie shopping places then decided we are tired and took the train home. the thai food at siam kitchen cant match lerk thai! ;/ though i still love the prawn crackers! haha.






a simple catchup session but lots of juicy stuff in between! (: next one soon.

it was my sister's 16th just last week, simple affair with yummy homecooked dinner at home. havent had my mummy's honey chicken wings for so long, still just as good. (:

J and i rushed down to island creamery cos my boy has sweet cravings which is so rare! but the mudpies were sold out! ): so we had old school ice cream cones, mine was a super cone with chocolate & almonds. nutella still the best. i love you,man at my place with special roasted sausages mongkok style potato chips! haha. though cant beat the oknomoyaki chips but still junk food is always very tasty!

i havent exercise for a very long time, feeling very unhealthy already. swimming on thurs! must. i need to get my discipline back. thank goodness i still insist on doing the stairs everyday. (;
i'm so tired of working already, all for the money, all for the cash. i cant wait for the day i can wake up late and laze around doing nothing. (more exercise definitely!) so many dates i have to turn down cos of work! ):

very dreadful. J got a good 7 days MC which i was supposed to enjoy with him yet i am sitting here staring into space and stoning. working on sundays is even worst. ): luckily i got an off day on tues. need my break so terribly. i cant wait for work to be over, like finally the end. though i will miss the place (or maybe not?) but cant deny i learnt alot about travel agencies. there's this mooncake bazaar thing right smack in the middle of bugis which is so irritating cos i am soooo tempted to eat but yet i cant! esp swensen's sticky chewy chocolate ice cream mooncake. omgg. haha! need to get a new bag! yay.

omg, i realised i havent blogged since ages! and the bkk trip is such a nag to blog now cos i have so much more things to blog about. haha. just returned from macau about 4 days ago.

macau is extremely boring! thank goodness we went over to hongkong otherwise we would be so bored. at night, there is totally no night markets to walk, finding a place for dinner along the streets is also such a hassle! gimme bangkok anytime. i shall start saving, i wanna go to cambodia, vietnam and taiwan. we are going to plant our kisses all over the world, baby! haha ;D

i'm still collating macau pictures cos there are 2 cameras, so gotta wait awhile. heehee.

rebel with J's friends, & cabbing down from dhooby ghaut to clarke quay is a freaking $7.00, the cab fare was $4, but there was this city surcharge, i didnt even know that existed. a goddamn $3! but luckily, we managed to get $15 entry fee or else i will boycott the place alr. haha. then i realised attica had a theme party: shades! i should have went. hahaha. ;D

i know i'm back from bkk very long time ago but my internet gets really cranky everytime i lay fingers on them. ): i got the photos already, so i'll do a short writeup for my trip.
we stayed at grand diamond suites hotel beside platinum mall ( wholesale shopping) & about 5mins walk to central world plaza. though the walk to Siam BTS station was quite a distance, 15 mins or so but accompanied with much joy & sightseeing along the way.




our hotel is something like a service apartment, it has a small living room & kitchen with hotplates and all but pretty useless actually! looks cool only. haha!


look at the price tags though they say sale like everyday of the year.

while waiting for dinner at shabushi ( long queue!), we saw the colourful jelly so we tried. its like agar agar in prettier form! (; & random things we do.

our dinner place, was buffet style - 229bht/ pax. steamboat + sushi + cooked food.




it was starting to pour so headed over to the place i've been researching on since may! hailed a cab, got cheated but its okay at least we still got to the place. a really awesome place to check out, not very cheap but good ambience! a rooftop bar cafe del mar style with beds and sand, and even rocking chairs! haha. their sex on the beach & smoked sausages were awesome!
