just came back from an outdoor shoot for Fashion Muse and i must say it was quite a fun-filled experience. thank goodness my parents were away so i could take the car otherwise travelling would be such a hassle. we did a late afternoon/ evening shoot so the sun wasnt THAT bad but still glaring at some angles but it was super duper windy. see for yourselves! yay john little work ended, we bought so much barang from the event itself. mummy and daddy came down and spent over $300plus buying bedsheets, pillows, bolsters and clothes and fooood!!! hahaha. it was hilarious seeing the amount of stuff they bought especially when i ask her:

me," come down and take a look, theres quite good deals here!"
mummy, "want to go but see daddy. maybe go there see see and visit you and ahboy"

& the next moment i saw them was behind a tower of items in the trolley. my parents are cute max.
made a couple of friends there, mostly from unis - NUS, SIM etc. nice people.

caught up with gwen and san one night for supper before she leaves for brisbane again! but its her final sem so yay, she would be back for good end of this year. ((:

sighhhs i really dread school. and its commencing next week. ohmy ohmy why must the holiday pass so quickly!! ): ohwell, anyway let me blog about something less dreadful. J's birthday! he is 23 ALREADY. haha. it was a simple affair, got a chance to go to the terracotta warriers gallery and it was pretty interesting until we know so many are just replicas! ): haha, but still quite an enjoyable time looking at the exhibits and reading the information at the side.

went over for dinner at pasta inc cos there was a four course set meal which seemed quite reasonable. the food's not bad, i liked the mushroom soup and carbonara. they were super tasty, their main course fared okay but its called pasta inc for a reason. after that, we cabbed down esplanade for our first theatre experience, VISION. ayeeee it was disappointing, i saw the tv advertisement and it promised too much. some of the tricks were boring.

other than that, it was a good day except my heels were giving me blisters and we had to wake up early for work the next day! ;/

first time at USS and i love the place, apart from the crowd and expensive food/drinks/everything and queue. its like another fantasy world. have to say the sets are quite nicely done, i really felt like i was in the movie set or something. too bad we couldnt finish the rides, we missed out cylon! ): wasted but the rest was well worth it. i still think my favourite ride had to be the mummy one! though we cant see anything, it was more thrilling, i really felt i was flying out of my seat.

the battlestar galactica human was less scary than expected. i didnt feel it was that bad! but damnnnn i want to take cylon now! the lost world was quite interesting too, the water boat/raft thing hahaha. we wasted like 2 hours queueing at some canopy flyer thing which was so retarded, the ride was like 20sec long?!? super waste time!

must go back again cos i didnt get to try the giant awesome pizzas and it was smelling too good to be true! we were there on a sat so there was fireworks and stuff. kinda cool cos they are literally right in front but it was just super smokey after that! well worth the trip (:

met up with the girls at burger king cos agnes was having fast food craving! haha, never a big fan of burger king but i cannot live without macdonald's fries/shaker fries/twister fries. infact i cant live without fries everywhere! it was a simple gathering and this time dilla our busy policewoman can finally meet us! haha. so proud of her and its so cool i have a policewoman friend!! ;D was trying out the new effects on my camera and its amazing! the effect makes our skin look fabulously flawless.

its always full of laughter whenever we meet, hopefully this is friendship that will last a lifetime! <3

celebrated our 32nd month simply! (32 is both our favourite number <3) walking about town only to realise dinner crowd on saturdays are a pain in the ass. wanted to try the colourful XLBs at Paradise Dynasty but had to wait 45 mins for a table, same thing for Imperial Treasure at Taka. )): in the end, settled with some food stalls at Taka Basement and went for a proper dinner on sunday - Din Tai Fung. was craving for the XLB and fried rice.

cineleisure was so crowded and there was some parade on the day itself (cos play parade or something like that, many people in costumes was quite funny to watch so we started snapping pictures like tourists! haha)

too lazy to type on, getting really sleepy. nighty nights! (:

been back from bkk but still missing the place like crazy. was a pretty short trip but enjoyable max. we had super alot of good food and J brought us to awesome seafood at Somboon and steamboat at MK restaurant. mad cheap for what we ordered. still missing the fried curry crab!! ): so wanna go back again.

bkk never fails me except for this time, the foot massage i had on the first day was crazily bad. my masseuse was so rough and gave me a bruise. was f annoyed, spoilt the mood for the first day!! other than that, JJ market was fantastic. finally got to try COCONUT ice cream & more street food. the stewed duck soup noodle was epic yummy. never had anything like that before, the gravy was rich and the noodles da best! also tried green curry noodle (the authentic thai one hahaha). nothing fantastic but the gravy was rich even though it looked really diluted. my parents were damn funny. they spend about 400bht on food in the food court at platinum, it was like $16 and given every dish cost an average of 40bht. they topped up 200bht then top up again and had like 2 servings of mango sticky rice. omgxzxx.

one random day, mummy suddenly talked about going to bkk, and now we are going in a about two weeks time. cant wait for shopping, thai food and cheap massage. & this time, its almost sponsored. yay! heehee. finally got stuff appropriate for the shoot like lightings and stuff. hopefully it will turn out much better.

anw, im kinda bored and im too lazy to work. i cant get a job, start a week then take leave right? oh well, shall find a proper paying job when im back from bkk. i guess ill be in need too as well cos no more $$! haha. just finished episodes of gossip girl and im back to doing nothing again! ayeee.

omg, i have been very very lazy! lol. last post was 28 april, the whole month of may i didnt even post anything. haha. frankly cos theres nth worth mentioning. first two weeks of may still spend studying for exams! ;/ then subsequently, we were working for a short event at the airport till the end of may. activities that sum up may, exams + work + food + occasional meetups + lan + laze around at home doing nothing. yeap, my life's a bore.

results were out and i am so delighted with what i have gotten. its not like i have a CAP of 4.5 or 4 in any sense but it was a great improvement from the last semester which was just dreadful and depressing. at least now i know im in the right major and i have accepted it & has been working hard for the last semester. honestly, maybe not hard work, but at least consistent readings which has proven effective in uni. seriously in art school, you cnt leave the readings till the last two weeks prior to exams to read, you will just panic and die.

well, my only regret was not choosing proper modules to take in the first sem and end up screwing it up BIG TIME. stupid modules and stupid results. well, at least i've got a bit smarter at choosing and selecting modules and planning a proper timetable. hopefully, year 2/3 might be much better. theres still lots of room for improvement. ): but for now, just let me enjoy my well-deserved break and prolly start looking for a proper temp job. lol.

im so damn hyped over the general elections that i google them, read the newspaper (for once) and turn to channel news asia to get a glimpse of the GE during my short study breaks. feel so intellectual and motivated && i finally know who are my ministers! hahaha! never knew any minister except the standard 3, MM Lee Kuan Yew, SM Goh Chok Tong, and PM Lee Hsien Loong. how hopeless am i right!!

felt really enlightened by all the speech given by the opposition parties & its like the first time almost every seat is being contested (except TPG) but WOW, so exciting, dont you agree!! even my parents talk politics over dinner! hahaha + what i learn this semester about theories of communication really empowered my critical skills. and i tend to evaluate what the ministers or opposition are saying. finally, some good use of education (besides one piece of paper = certificate) hahaha!

realised that its so ironic that singaporeans complain about no transparency, PAP being not accountable or credible and yet they dont do anything about it. honestly, the only solution for that is to vote for more opposition voices to act as watchdog for the people. with more opposition in the parliament, they will be able to be a full better representation of singaporeans (think about it, do you think our ministers take public trspt and eat at local food centres? do you think they would really empathize with us?) by voting the opposition who are the true voicers and being more relatable to singaporeans will in turn solve the accountability issue. why dont singaporeans get it?

was interesting to hear the parties debate about the pay of the ministers! love that topic when they are being shot down. dont need to mention but everyone knows our ministers are highest paid in the world, and the reason is to prevent corruption so does it mean the ministers now are working for the money? shouldnt be they working for the interest of the people? doesnt it sound so conflicting? if they are really keen and motivated to represent the people, money wouldnt make a difference in them. (i.e. volunteers do their part for the better of society, do they ask for a pay?)

well, if i could vote, you'll definitely know where my vote will go to. im sure PAP will still win the majority after all our babyboomers and "foreign talents" are bound to vote for them due to conservativeness, HIGH uncertainty avoidance (Hofstede) and reciprocity. though i wished there would be some changes, our opposition parties are not yet strong to take over as government, but more opposition and public eye on the government and its policies would definitely be worth it and beneficial for the citizens of singapore, the true meaning of general elections isn it?

finally my tests are all over so no more exams till may! (which is the finals!) so fast another semester is going to be over and im going to be in year 2 already.
the two tests were alright, im not too sure if its going to a good results but i put in all my best, so whatever left is in the hands of the tutors. ;/

one day before the tests, i got myself a new baby! aint it adorable?

when i first bought him, he was extremely naughty. he started spitting on shit (yes, he ate the other hamsters' shit. ;X) damn gross la. he so piggy, when he sleeps, he's still munching. will try to get a picture. he always hide under the wheel so its so tough to get a proper photo! haha but soon soon. ;D

i really dont understand.

once a beautiful relationship, now one big mess because of all the miscommunication between males and females. i've always thought we would go far because you make me happy, you make me laugh, you took care of me, did silly things to cheer me up, but that was the past because now you are different. its either the love for me has changed or you have always been unappreciative.

after 28months together, i only wished it lasted longer. but yet, you have to say such hurtful things.

now that we decide to embark on our own journey, memories of you will still be with me because it was really wonderful. so rare that we managed to travel to so many places, tasty home-cook experiments we had, celebrating our monthsaries with good food, our annual friendship promise on 14june, my favourite sleepovers and lazing in bed. all these has come to an end.

celebrated ah long's birthday at chomp2 on thurs! it was raining so there wasnt much crowd. dont really fancy the food there cos i have them all downstairs and even better (i feel, haha ;D i mean we have bbq chix wings, ever famour ba chor mee & popular oyster omelette really nothing can beat that!) but their stingray was pretty tasty! the chilli is different from my house market so it was a good choice! we ordered twice! haha.

pestered j to do something surprising for his mate; so we started decorating his cake. did it once for val and gotta say its not easy at all ! see the end result yourself. haha but the blackforest cake was really good! the last time we took vanilla, wasnt nice just pile of cream!

went over to gim chuan's house for cake cutting and we had to play a game with changlong and if he lost, he drink. obviously, the guys played arm wrestling, thumb wrestling. i played scissor paper stone 50:50 chance yet i still won! yay! haha.

3 birthday parties in a day can really be extremely tiring! gosh.

first was J's classmate at NUS, it was really far away somewhere in Bukit Batok/Timah and worst was we got lost, so we couldnt make it for cake-cutting. met Joshua from Sp which was so heartwarming to see a familiar face!

next was J's friend, not a 21st birthday but a simple celebration. since dee's birthday starts late, shall hang around there first. it was at one of the suites in mbs, pretty cool and huge!

last & final birthday party (was having a headache travelling up and down already!) was dee's and it was all the way in Sentosa! Lucky girl booked a villa at Amara Sentosa, quite a nice romantic place but think was kinda crammy for a birthday party! nevertheless, i love her cake! super pretty from canele & the chocolate was so damn thick and awesome! best birthday cake! ;DD

belated valentines day post!

convince J to have a simple valentines day this year, it was a wonderful experience nonetheless. there was superb food at aerin's at such affordable prices. totally dont see the point in paying for doubly markup prices of food. normally, you could get the item at $20plus, and its vday and they create a set for you costing $100plus. ); so unless we have the spare cash, its no-go for us. (;

our total bill came up to $70plus yet we had so much good food. one jug of sangria, smoked salmon and baked meatballs as starters. i had snapper, while J had pasta. we didnt order desserts cos J said he had a surprise for me!

we ended up at laurent bernard! heard of the place before but never tried so was a good time since i always love to end my meal with something sweet. we looked around and almost everyone had a souffle so we ordered. personally, i prefer choco lava cake, like the baked on the outside, soft,oozy and moist in the inside. the vanilla ice cream was a dream though!

well honestly to me, my heart wasnt with me this vday. had so much other stuff on my mind so i didnt fully enjoy the whole experience. everything was great and good but it was just my brain and heart that aint feeling that fantastic. i think it will be like that for the whole year i guess. i can already predict a lousy 21st. though it can be a perfect party, but it will never be perfect when your heart isnt there. frankly, i dont know how to describe this feeling too but it just feels sore and full of darkness. & the worst part, there is nothing i can do about it ));

im so lazy to do my readings, was confined at home by my parents to help do springcleaning (the part i hate most about cny!!) but i managed to finally pack my wardrobe & now its in a super amazing colour coordination. now i really know what colour clothes i lack! hahaha. so proud but my wardrobe is seriously exploding!! && i still got two more dresses coming tnight heehee. ;DD

anyways, cant believe its coming feb already. was just a blink of an eye that we were celebrating the new year 2011 with fireworks, now its another celebration but this time w more sinful indulgences and goodies! (;

last weekend we visited national museum of singapore at dhoby ghaut for the pompeii exhibition. quite enriching experience, since it consist of part history part geography displays. frankly, history & geography is my most favourite two subjects. if money permits, i would really like to be excavating historic treasures in egypt or sth. i really wanted to be an archaeologist when i was younger. no joke! i want to find like skeletons and fossils. hahaha.

dinner was at liang court with j's parents! super duper awesome beef ramen, his dad's black pig ramen was even better. shall go back again!! yums.

oh dear, i've been spending so much money despite being so broke! im still shopping while in debt, according to J. hahaha but it makes me sooo happy!

shopping can be stressful actually, i just THOUGHT i finally got my cny dress then i saw this other piece which was so amazingly more pretty like x4984958498548584504395493! so now, im in a serious dilemma! damnnn, plus i just bagged some goodies from f21 today while accompanying J do his shopping.

Conclusion: I END UP BUYING MORE STUFF! but yay! enought clothes for vday, our many many monthsaries, birthday parties &&& school! teeeheee ;D nvm, angbao $$ cover cost.

first week of school quite laxed cos our tutorial slots arent confirm and first lectures are usually much simpler, intro to module and stuff. managed to sell off both my textbooks within 3 days! there's a huge market for it i swear. other than that, J and i made a pact to save $ & go home for dinner which was good also. didnt spend much this week yay! have been trying to do my readings but there are always dreadfully longgg, the super bad thing of being a social science student. you know i just realised like last week that i will graduate with a bachelor of social science not arts since im doing communications & new media. the modules so far are quite interesting, like you wouldnt fall asleep kind except the hungry growling stomach of course. reminder to self: must keep snacks in bag already! teehee (:

the weekend was awesome! J and i had X-men marathon, my all-time favourite cartoon & comic series. challenge me! hahaha. the even better part was supper along with it, the orgasmic bbq chicken wings frm my market, cheese & mayo friezzz & cheese hotdogs. yum yum. ;D

201o was a horrendous year, and im so hoping 2011 is better especially since the world might just end in 2012 right? haha! ayee havent been sleeping well for the past 3 nights, yes i have the same dream for 3 consecutive nights! its so scary esp when its about J cheating on me in 3 different scenarios! )): scary cos the dream is so real, i even know how that 'bitch' look like!

awesome dinner party at val's place! its a potluck and its finally a successful potluck! hahaha. everyone brought a food item & it was great. i prepared jelly which was kinda fun given i put the most effort. gwen's gado gado was definitely her maid's preparation, cheryl basically bought all sort of lettuce & mix them. san couldnt cook her pasta for nuts, she didnt even know must boil the water! so im the pro! hahahaha

didnt do the actual countdown there cos i got to be home with my family for the countdown. its like annual home affair. (: lazy to upload the photos right now! heehee so shall with the pictures, took super many of the mushroom the cutie!

this christmas has been a warm cosy get-together with my relatives! helped my mummy with the food and yes, i decorated the place! heeeheee. ;DD

lots of monopoly dealzz (finally!), movie, mahjong, present exchange which was so awesome! cracking the cracker was pretty cool too, we had to pull this "sweet-looking thing" in pairs and it was so much fun, even my grandma wanted to join in the fun! haha.

this has got to be my most memorable christmas ever, & mummy just agreed to make this an annual affair! yay! more family gatherings to come <3

christmas eve saw us rushing down to town for last min christmas presents cos J told me the shops close early! ): i woke up around 11plus only to find out shops dont close early during xmas, only cny! hahaha. orchard was so crowded! super duper mad crowded, so many people rushing here and there, it was so annoying. thankfully i didnt wear flip flops cos people will definitely step on them which i absolutely hate big time! met J after he got MY present for our christmas lunch. we had xlb after such a long long time plus we were so hungry and lazy to walk any further! haha! headed over to my sis' church for some performance then time for dinner at astons before going to clarke quay to meet A.

recent day trip to JB with the family was a rewarding trip especially the time spent with my family and relative. my grandma was such a heroine! she lasted through the entire trip, sitting at cafes waiting for us sipping coffee. hahaha! (:

heya, i know nowadays i am so irregular with my blog updates. promise i will update it more often. now is the exams and its mad stressed!

3 papers down, 2 in a day kills you like mad! plus all i had was 2 hours in between to revise. worst thing: fucking IT computer crap stuff. its open book but also not enough time to search finish cos the notes are all over the place! ): maybe blame myself for not focusing hard enough for it, but i have NM which i would intend to major right. PLEASE JUST DONT FAIL. GIVE ME AT LEAST A B I AM HAPPY!

supposed to be studying geography now, paper's on friday. but just taking a teeny break. today was my history paper which i was so pressured and stressed! i only have 6 hours to crash 13 topics with about 3 readings each per topic & yes, i did it. i'm quite proud of myself i managed to do this paper without sleep! throughout the time i was in bed, i have been trying to recall facts from 3 am all the way till 6.30am. cannot believe it myself! thanks for all the support i had from my mummy, daddy and pork + bb <3 everyone prepared and take things for me like i'm a princess. thank you so much!

the best part was I MANAGED TO SPOT QUESTION. i usually suck at that big time, had to rely on bb to spot qn for me for IT. then while i was sitting in the train, i suddenly thought of facism, and flipped to it, it came out!!
then on my way to exam hall, i decide to read up on the first few topics on enlightenment and industrial revolution && again it came out! so happppy! hahaha.

but still i'm super glad its all over, time to focus my energy on geography now. ;/

its been more than a month since i last blogged, goes to show how busy i am! yes university is no slack time, its busy all the time. plus staying in hostel means i'm cut off from the rest of the world. ):

but okay, attended events and still go out and have a life on weekends. must you know, otherwise i think we will go crazy! was very ill few weeks ago, had this ongoing fever and flu thing for a week, temperature rose to 39.5degrees but luckily i was home! the whole week was hell, with bad throat then loss of voice. but right after i recovered, i insisted on having KFC! craving since some time plus i dont normally go for fried oily food but ohwell my mummy have me weighed every week! )): so i gotta put on a little. grrrr. ): just nice immd after i had KFC and dinner at home, i put on 500g! dunno if its a good or bad thing. hahaha.

photos are all in my hard disk in my hostel so i can upload any here! ): btw i got a blackberry, finally after my samsung was dying. bought it without contract cos it hasnt ended and starhub is super inflexible! i think i want to change mobile provider soon. ayeee. mummy sponsored half as my early bday present. heehee so now i can surf on the go which rocks! recently, i've been hooked on L4D2! omg its so super fun that i'm downloading it onto my lappy! hahaha. its the team that makes alot of difference or define if the game is fun! i have to play it soon, its this addiction! hahaaha.

mid terms tests are coming! and the school has a one week break but its retarded, we still have to do projects, attend CCAs so in the end, its just left with 3 days to study 3 papers! )))): so gonna bang the wall and die.

in school for two weeks already, ayee not that im excited cos i've got so many readings to do and studying is always dreadful. you know you have the inspiration but once you turn on the computer, it just stops there. this week has been a pretty loaded one (which i love, i love busy weeks it just gives me more push!) attended NUS student union biz com welcome tea so we learn more about the club. J and I already have plans to join in fact we went for interviews already cos it fits us esp for me, i personally like it, being able to mix around with new people, learn new stuff and basically fitting into uni life. ;/ then had dinner with djade on tues, we had aerins and starbucks, lovely. its so great to still be able to meet up with them, we must make it regular cos they have been my bestest of best friends in poly. we all forgot our cameras so make do with agnes' iphone. ;)

(dont ask why got no pictures of bf and agnes, they claimed they looked awful!)

went down to club room for a second round interview and omg i got to choose to head either bazaar or advertising & promotions. so finally decided on advertising & promotions (well, didnt have much of a choice anw. :/) wanted events events events get to plan like NUS Bash which is so awesome or HR but ayeeeeeeeee. ): you dont always get the best things in life do we? ytd was just as bad, went down to do manual tutorial registration but didnt get it so my seniors say just crash but idk how that will result, quite embarassing to be throw out of class right. sighsssss,

i got no school today(hopefully not for this sem!) but im up early to meet J. how nice of me righttt! anyway, first week of school pretty mundane, it still hasnt sank in that school's started and i gotta to study do projects, prepare for exams soon. all my exam dates are set alrd! ): lectures are all two hour long which is such a bitch cos after an hour, you will start to feel the pain in ur ass, attention draining away, feel hungry and super sleepy. and i have 4 hrs straight lectures on tues, more to come! just ranked my tutorial slots and hopefully i get the same ones as J! so glad i can at least have two classes with him. i have been crying day after day, night after night for the past week. i know crying over things that cant be done is stupid, but its because you cant do anything thats why you keep crying. i know there will be many people out there that will mock at me, bcos i seem to have everything. i have great friends from poly and sec sch which we still meet up ocasionally, i got into a local university, i have a superb bf that takes care and give in to me. but its not just that, its about issues i have with myself that makes me feel so loser-ish, so stupid, so childish, so spoilt, so dependent.

im so extremely fearful of uni that i cringe in fear every night, i lay in bed eyes wide open when im all alone. all these cos im taking some stupid degree which i DO NOT understand at all, and having to compete with people from jc who can easily excel in these modules. all these adds on to the pressures of having to bid for modules, arranging my own timetable, being all alone in school cos i didnt go for any orientation camps, having to eat alone, sit alone in class, seeing J so happy with classmates yet im so pathetic. knowing that i wont be able to get a good enough CAP to get a transfer to biz. and J would excel in his cohort. having to stay in my hostel alone, by myself. all these thoughts just kills me. i know i was really foolish ystd J, i apologise but i come to the extend i need to be surrounded by people all the time otherwise i start thinking negatively and all the suicidal thoughts reappear in my head. i really wish there was something someone can do.

impromptu decision to go clubbing last fri at phuture after we ended work, so we reached at like 1plus am. hahaha. nothing much to say, usual crowded places, drunk people. there was some event at velvet prolly that explains the crowd! ohoh, we tried a new drink while seeing the group beside us play, its supposedly very fatal! the drink's call kiss of death and after we ordered, the whole grp beside us told us how to drink it, you must breathe in and you will feel the kick! quite coool drink. double combo of triple sec & cointreau! hahaha. go try!

hahaha, havent been on this page since 8th july! omg. anw work's finally over for me and J! like finally after so much tiring manual work. i've enjoyed the fun people and ocasionally fun work + awesome food. now will be next phase of our lives already, UNI! )): went down to my matriculation and i see so many people who might be my prospective classmates, i got so nervous! like my heart beat faster and everything! no kidding, im that afraid of new faces. sighhhh.

cant decide if i wna buy a laptop cos my fujitsu one is still doing well, maybe i can trade in or sth and get a new one using the loan. dont think my parents will wna buy cos i just asked them for hostel fees! $3000plus per year. quite a hefty sum already. ):

on a happier note, celebrated J's 22nd on wed! how awesome! had late lunch at coffee club millenia walk cos i just became a club royalty too. (hooray gwen and val, i join the league too!) BUT to our disappointment, the food sucked pretty badly!the chicken i ordered tasted raw, J's beef was tasteless. the only good thing was the pretty chairs. hmph. instead of writing a card which is so boring, decided to play some jigsaw puzzle with him. hahah. headed over to the current hype, marina skypark. the view was so-so, you would hv expected more if you paid $20 to enter but the pool and lounge area was awesome! infinity pool ftw. out of the blue, J craved for gelare waffles & ice cream so lucky for him, the outlet at suntec hasnt closed! yay to more waffle dates.

dinner at capricci was fantastic, the service is one of the best! food tasted superb and the chef came out to chat with us too. hahaha. both of had the set dinner, so we have appetizers, entree & dessert! J's appetizer was super meaty, platter of cold cuts while mine was scallop au gratin like baked w potato. damn good. entree for J is obviously beef tenderloin, he said was cooked perfectly and taste good even though it doesnt come with any gravy. i had grilled cod w asparagus cream! YUMMMMMY! i managed to sneak candles for B's dessert. first time he ordered something chocolatey! too lazy to upload the dinner photos so see them on fb instead. (:

dinner with djade on my offday. like finally, we met up after god knows how many months! bf's back frm beijing and guess what she bought?! our favourite things: underwearrrrrrr. hahaha. my stupid idea of each of us suggesting a place then vote but realised everyone will vote their own suggestion so in the end, we decided on dinnerplace on the spot. was at OC, and found this little place that serves pretty hotplate food. 4 of us shared one modanyaki (spicy pork cheese noodles wrapped in egg?) & okos (which is just okonomoyaki that you see at those pasar malam! haha, but we had sausage & cheese). surprisingly good but alittle too salty for me! dee had her milk pudding which seriously tasted like the big rabbit milk candy ahahaha!

went over for desserts at marche again, & my camera died! shared a strawberry cheesecake, chocolate & strawberry mousse and bread & butter pudding (dno whats so nice about it still. hahaha) luckily we didnt order a crepe, otherwise we would be so damn bloated & fat !

anyways, just went to the airport to send gwen off! ): extremely sad but its for a good cause and she'll come back end of this yr so lets look foward to her return soon! time flies, half a year just went by like that, so december would definitely be in a wink of an eye yah? haha. miss you alrd, G! met up w gwen and val for dinner afew days before she left. couldnt decide what to eat but later settled on din tai fung with TWO tray/basket of xiaolongbao! & our favourite hot & sour soup (; we wanted desserts at swensens but thought the outlet at tampines would be close soon, so we drove out to the airport. WRONG MOVE, the outlet there was undergoing maintainence! )): in the end, headed to macs for cinnamon melts, oreo mcflurry and mochachino. heehee.

caught HALF of eclipse with J at GV Tamp. the movie went off after an hour and refuse to come back on, repeated like a few times and starting flashing neon blinding green and pink lights! so damn annoying! total time wasted: 30mins + queueing for refund of tickets 20mins. what an unpleasant experience! arghhh.

cheryl's birthday on mon was great. it was more like a gathering but we enjoyed each other's company and C's homemade selfmade spaghetti. we watched matlida, supposed a childhood movie of everyone xcept val, san and me. super funny and i must say quite a good show. and accompanied w our spaghetti, black pepper chix and pies. one of the best time we have. (: it was initially a poolside party but we brushed off the idea after seeing the omg sun! not a bad idea at all. hahaha.

our annual friendship vow renewal as usual for the 3rd yr running. pls promise me many many more years to come yah! :D

hmm, my life is boring and i really dont know what im gg to write besides my sucky guests at the different wedding banquets! hahaha. ah well, the funny thing is that amazingly im no longer a normal table server, yep, i got promoted to VIP server at Mandarin Oriental which means better service! must be my service quality management module, ms mila must be so damn proud of me. hahaha. my manager also briefed me on what he wants me to do in the future, food tasting where i need to know how every course taste like, wedding themes (its almost like planning their wedding already!), butler where you will tend to the bride and groom, taking care of their every needs, hold her dress blah blah blah. pretty interesting yah?

one day after work, on our way to collect our pay, we passed by this lovely breadshop in ion orchard and they have such pretty tarts! ;D infact they have lots of pretty stuff too.

sunday was our one and only off day, celebrated yw's birthday at sushi tei & tcc. then walked ard town. simple gathering, havent strolled along town for ages since we started work. haha so it was quite relaxing but its work today again! ;/

&& souveniors from new york, wished i was there instead, all the coach handbags, marc jacobs clothes, kate spade and ferragamo heels. omgomgomg. well, now my fridge has many more reese peanut buttercups, hersheys and oddly coloured purple, pink, grey, black, white m&ms! hahahaa.

2 weeks into work, have to admit its tiring but since being able to work with J, i have no complaints at all. its actually quite fun, though yes we are overly qualified for such menial job but nevertheless in every job there's definitely something new to learn which will be useful in life eventually! hahaha.

after my graduation, treated J to a buffet dinner at trader's hotel. quite a lovely place and the food is rather tasty! desserts were a major disappointment, but the salads and meats were good esp the chicken wings & smoked salmon! (((:

yes, we finally graduated! now we are alumni of singapore polytechnic! :D cant believe it, three years passed so quickly and amazingly fruitful. i'll miss my coursemates, classmates and most importantly, djade! ): love you all to teeny weeny bits. promise must meet up no matter what happens, we need to make time for each other now that we all go separate ways! things wont be the same again im sure.

ayeee, so sad to see all of us go actually. on my way to the grad ceremony, so many thoughts passed my mind. all the project rush we have, being the noisy notorious clique of my class, running for classes, chopping seats in fc6. so many memories!

its been work and work this weekend! wedding dinners after wedding dinners! :/ extremely tired and my whole body's aching so terribly. first was work at marina bay sands which sucked! so disorganised and messy, unprepared and we had to serve 3 tables. crazy or what. poor j had to run up and down so many times! only reached home around 3am! )):

next day was work at intercontinental which was soooooooooooo much better except that we had to portion food right infront of the guests, very stressful for a first timer! but overall, more relaxing and well planned.

have been job hunting these past few days and lazing ard at home. the feeling of not having to be woken by an alarm totally rocks! getting up at anytime i want then ransack the house for some food!

so amidst our job hunting mode, we had lots of good food cos we made them!
1. choco milkshake, dug up my fridge for really whatever and we just dump, literally dump, into my blender! ingredients: vanilla ice cream, milk, choco sauce, choco chips!

& SERIOUSLY IT TASTED LIKE JAVA CHIP! :DDDD

2. honey mustard glazed grilled salmon, kind of last minute but we were desperate for some good salmon and since we are both jobless ): we decided to make it on our own. looks good, taste just as fantastic. accompanied w some french beans and baked potato (which j loveeeee!)

3. our favourite thai place for cheap & authentic thai food (: tried their tomyum soup this time round, spicy but shiok (gotta bring djade down soon!), j's fried garlic pork was yummy, just alittle dry but complimented my tomyum!

im so dead bored at work then im here blogging about super random stuff? haha.
i spent the whole day reading blogs, fb, researching some of the lamest things and yet its only 4:46pm!! time pass so damn slowly. making me so frustrated. ):

luckily i hv bf who's constantly free to chat with me thr email. haha! and again we talk abt the dumbest things from hairstyles, felicia chin, boobjobs, katespade, mothers day and gastric. omgawdd talking about gastric, i had such a bad one yesterday then it was so painful i couldnt stand. that bad! by the time i got to J's house, i had a pc of veggie and i felt like puking! in the end, J made me hot milo & horlicks and dug out digestives. its so scary that i am going to permanently put some food in my bag, be it sweet, biscuits or sth! good thing J was there otherwise i might have fainted somewhere! ;/

on a happier note! i cant wait to embrace MAY! or even this week.

parents are away so we didnt have to wake up early (mummy always nags around 11plus 12 buttt its the weekends!!!) slept till 2 then woke up with J feeling hungry!

changed out and trained down to the dim sum place we were aiming to go since forever. we are always super sloth-y! on our way, i found a mama shop that sells all my faourite childhood snacks, rmb pop pop? bee bee? chicken ring and all which i hardly ever see anywhereeee, so delighted that i got some! hahaha. sorry, side trackkk, so anw the dim sum place is ard geylang and we had a hard time figuring out where to get down. ;/

finalllyyyy ..

century egg porridge was so damn good! the thick thick starchy cantonese porridge. we ordered other stuff too, but no har gou cos i cant take prawns! ): had to dig out the prawns in my siew mai too but worth it!

haha, J looks like he permanently stuffed a siew mai in his mouth! ;D

wanted to chop off my hair (ON IMPULSE!) and now i look so retarded and such a toot! )))): mad sad. i miss my longgg hairrr! should have just done the fringe. but J cheered me up and got me a GTR in sleek super black! yesyes, we parked the baby in the arcade. hahaha. my car racing skills is polishing up, i could actually win races now! yipppeeee. :D

this week have been more than a excellent fruitful week ...

so good things first. i received my NUS acceptance letter already! super happy that i cried upon seeing the package. though sometimes i think that the acceptance letter is both a good and bad thing, good for me but yet bad is i dont actually dare to tell anyone abt it. i know it will be very upsetting and very hurtful for them to want to share this joy with me. i totally understand and i feel very awkward also but i dont think i want to hide it any further afterall, this is my blog so i think i get to say what i want. but truth is who actually reads here right? haha.

for those who received, congrats. for those who havent, dont give up yet, they will still be sending acceptance letters in May- June. fight onnn!

saturday saw us headed to kate spade sale! we were late so the awesome stuff were already outt! but nonetheless i still went home smiling! (: some ladies they buy like there's no tomorrow, 6 bags, 1 wristlet and 1 wallet. its crazyyyy and the payment queue was soo long that i started to observe ppl, like 3 ladies fighting for one bag! hahaha. mad hilarious.

after that, hung ard vivo looking for my maxi dress but to no avail. ): finally met up with J's friends in town for dinner at cafe cartel. was so funny cos one of his frens recently extracted his wisdom too, so the two of them chewed reallly slowlyyy! ordered my fav brownie cheesecake then down to cine timezone for arcade again! i beat his friend at the motorbike racing too. its like the first time i beat a guy at something in the arcade other than those "spot the difference" games. hahaha.

trained home ard 11plus, still wanting to catch late night movie but by the time we were at bedok, we were half dead so decided to head home straight for my cosy bed! haha :D

where in the past, it was just me and you. now its just you and mayb me. i cant keep giving in everytime you want something. in the past i was always first, you would do anything to make me happy to give in to me, now i dont see myself anywhere near. when i throw a tantrum, im being unreasonable, i ask of something, ur friends come first and soon it will be worst when august commences. i dont have a choice. in that tiny world of urs, education and fuck said everything that will help you attain popularity, climb the ladders will take priority. behind every successful man, its just a uncountable number of prostitues & mistress. this is what the world have become, this is what you will become.

we had awesome vegetarian food at Bedok with grandmama, then my aunties and cousins gave me courage to go pluck my eyebrows. so yesssss, i have nicely shaped brows finally. intially, it was abit painful, but after awhile the feeling was stingingly good. my brows are really little so now its even lesser & im lazy to draw. haha.

after that, hop over to make reservations for angie choice's durian cake! grandmama's favourite, we specially requested for happy birthday fonts too. gonna be so pretty somehow we got a discount too. went shopping with mummy around the area & yepp finally got my new bras and undies! my mummy was so cute, she kept insisting on me getting matching sets.

yay! im an absolute happy girl. (:

met J after his dockette check at tekong for movieeee! had KFC after an extremely long time. zingerrrr & cheeze friesssss! ( i DO eat fast food!) rushed down to tamp for shutter island cos everywhere else is soldout! the movie plot was abit complex but the effects were good, though i expected it to be more thrillinggg. hahaha!

it was kelvin's 21st on saturday and we hunted around town to look for suitable present! actually we slept till one, took our time to get ready laze around then got out of the house only ard 4pm? i just loveeee lazy weekendsss! heeheee.

he booked the chalet at downtown east so yep so near my place! we didnt bbq cos they catered & there is this little chocolate fondue fountain which i ate most from. i even helped replenish the bananas and chocolate. lol. we didnt hang ard for long, just met up with some old friends. standard procedures of birthday photo-taking, cake cutting, and birthday pranks!

dinner w djade was lovely! changed dinner plans from sushi tei to marche cos i was craving for it. decide to make a reservation and just nice J did too, the staff held our tables right next to each other. it was initially awkward cos he was with his bunch of polymates (all girls, sucha flirtttt. lol ;D). bf & i shared ham & cheese crepes, rostis and my damn good chocolate mousse. seriously, everyone shld try that. gotta get J to go with me again soon. yes, we stole the balloons just for our photos. heehee. after that we were so excited to go shopping, rushed down to cotton on, f21 & yep all walked out of the shops happy with bagsssss of goodies.

ayeee, im here to whine.

you applied for uni, you didnt hear from them. you complained why they never call you, you stress out over maybe you're nt good enough, why you didnt apply thru discretionary. when they call you for interview, you stress out why they call you down for interview. what are they going to ask? what are you going to write? how to write when you never needed to express yourself in more than 300 words. stress about your limited vocabulary, grammar, subject-verb agreement. then stress you will screw up your interview which i already did. yes, ppl say u are lucky. yes, you know you are lucky but you wasted your chance. after the interview, you sit there stoning for a day stressing out if you nvr see the letter, means you had the chance lost it and/or you are just stupid.

AND IF you really get in, you stress about ur appeal to business cos yes, your nightmare just told you that ur life will suck in psych then u are so close to forwarding ur entire course of modules. then u pull ur hair, stressing out over the interview (repeat previous paragraph, again.)

AND YES, YOU GOT IN. you stress out over ur results, ur project mates, ur modules, ur lonely lectures, ur CCA, your classmates are too smart, too competitive and u cant make it out there alive. u cant complete ur assignments and fall behind everyone else. you stress out over academic and losing urself.

see now you know why i lose weight. read the overused word : stress

yay, last weekend was very well-spent. (:

woke up super early to acc J to make his driving license then drop by agnes' stall at *scape flea market. the things were really cheap but no pay = sad me! )): hahaha. on the other hand, my sis bought truckloads. ayoooh. ohwell, money saved = better hotel, more fun in penang! heeheee. last sat was also the first time i tried yami yogurt. yes, didnt ever tempt me till recently. i mean its something like ice cream yet its stupid cos it doesnt have cream. the froz yogurt was surprisingly good, and we added so much stuff to our pathetic small cup. lol.

& yesyes, i finally beat J at something in the arcade, motor bike racing! heeheee. FINALLLY. i still win him in bejewel though. lol. :D

sunday was mac breakfast day! my fav thing on weekends actually. J had a complimentary upgrade to the breakfast deluxe (is that what its called?) so yay him! he was such a happy kid filling himself up. hahaha! after filling ourselves, we took a super long bus ride from bedok to sengkang to swim, yep napped in the bus! about an hour plus journey. the slides werent fantastic, very low only and it was super damn crowded. i think its relatively new cos the toilet are sooooo clean! thats prolly the best thing.

yay! anw booked hotel for penang alrd, holiday inn here we come! ;D cant waitttt.

daddy's birthday dinner on friday night was way awesome, we had so much food i think we didnt have to eat for days. japanese buffet dinner at minori then super sinful desserts at canele. <3 the food we ordered at minori was yummy, plus it was an ala carte buffet, very worth the price with such wide variety!

after that, walked around w my family & ended on a sweet note with cakes, ice cream, sweet crepe! the nougatine crepe was da bomb seriously. the ice cream ( i forgot what flavor, nougat?) on top of the nutella crepe definitely a must-try! but do share bcos the portion's quite big. esp love the burnt caramel. heeheee.

ps. just kidding abt the lamboghini. hahaha.

attended kelvin's social night just last wed at safti. had to rush out from work, then prepare. but it was all fun & worth it. food was mediocre, but it was quite entertaining. performances by the platoons were pretty awesome and up to standard. of course nt forgetting the awesomest of awesome choco fondue fountain though the choco can be further improved. hahaha. there was a polaroid booth too, which is so intelligent so we had our photos taken. (: ooooh! & we stole a balloon bouquet home too! was so much fun, should have taken more photos though. got to meet up old frens too, Azli from SPstar, one of the contestant. there was a surprise when they presented their dates with chocs, quite interesting given their theme was Charlie's Chocolate Factory. hahaha. so cute. so my royce is still sitting in the fridge waiting for me to overcome guilt to savour it. ):

on tues night, met my sis for some good time together. hot ramen at waraku then mani session. the ramen was good, i mean i like hot and soupy stuff so yahh. but it was just one big bowl, two slices of pork and that sums it all. hahaha! rushed to OC cos its B&J's free cone day but it ended at 7pm! )): so we walked frm OC to Far east in abt 12mins! record time u knwww. haha.

gotten back my final semester results, yep I graduated. but whether its with a good grade or not. the final sem affected my gpa (quite predictable cos its quite tough to up ur final sem alrd). but ohwell, none of the unis have replied anw. so who actually cares right?

glad to have passed ASM. thought it was the worst paper bt surprisingly i did alright. ended up RM is worst. (due to my very super biased lecturer, duh?!) :/

oh and i didnt know poly actually award CCA still! haha, so reminds me of sec sch.

went ice skating just last week which was awesome! havent skate since primary school? there were so many little kids who are so good, spinning ard in circles, twirling about at a tender age of i think 5? ice skating must be the new ballet. haha.

it was freezing cold though, my legs were kind of numb but nevertheless had alot of fun. the kallang ring is quite small, cant wait for the new one in jurong to open, i think its huge. saw the floorplan of the new mall alrd! works been the same. to those who have never seen me in denim, here goes:

met up with djade on sat but forgot to take pictures. we had secret recipe, their marble cheese cake's pretty yummy, bf had a infamous tomyum again always you know bf. one day we go eat thai food! wanted to catch a movie w J but all the cinemas were full. the only time available is like what 2am! and by the time we get home, the sun is about to rise. so we headed back rented law abiding citizen, good movie but i was so dead beat i zonked out. haha. and ordered hot&spicy fries in! yay! beautiful weekend. alice in wonderland was pretty interesting cos of the extremely weird dynamics of the movie! so that was good plus i finally tried the hot & spicy shaker fries! seriously taste like maggie mee seasoning. haha.

anw, last fri was meetup with my longtime sister guides! haha. since it was ophie's first time and she requested to go clubbing,we brought her. along the way, we met friends here and there! it was fl's birthday that day too. haha. we went back quite early cos the music and crowd sucks pretty badly. my conclusion: rebel's only good on saturdays!

i've started work at SMRT HQ ( its not the mrt station, its an office beside raffles city actually!) first two days of work seem not too bad, i have my own table, and its in the cosy cornerso kinda like it. lots of privacy if you knw what i mean! ahahaha.

some updates from wed, dee's belated 20th bday celebration & once again she chose picnic again! but we were pretty lacked of staples, had lots of chips and biscuits but no sandwiches and of them sort. we changed picnic spots a couple of times cos it was either under the hot hot sun, or massive ants war! oh but there was this really pretty pigeon that kept walking in circles around us. it had a super pretty neckline! didnt get to get a picture though ): so you all just imagine? haha!

at night, went to celebrate san's birthday at zouk & ended up meeting agnes, dee and iz ! 05 gathering. best thing was we all didnt have a camera w us! so not many pretty photos of the night! but shall pester val to upload since she got such a pretty camera now! hahaha.

this sem, lacked the energy to focus and motivation to study, keep thinking of holidays, playing, SIMS, arcade, just plain slacking ard and ohyah, exercise! hahaha. been eating so much junk lately, always happen when im stressed ! cleared up so much of my cny goodies. usually there would be so much left it could leave for the cny next yr but my fav are almost gone!

in the midst of planning our phuket trip w djade which is taking so long & so much energy bcos we all cant decide, talk abt girls righhtttt. oh btw, watched several movies lately. percy jackson & the lightning thief, wolfman, and from paris with love. i think wolfman is gory which i usually like but the storyline was so boringgg. percy jackson was so-so, very kiddish i feel. & from paris w love, lots of shooting & fighting, quite interesting la but i almost fell aslp, only had 4hrs of slp last night in prep for TLE. :?

bad timing. fell ill !and i still have psych test on fri yet havent had any time to study at all. got to rush through nus applications tmr(last day 21st! & you all knw what happens if i dont get it), heading to sch to collect my portfolio! ;/ ohmann, so many things to do. feeling so nervous now alrd. J bought me chix pie frm polar & his mummy even cuter, she kept pushing stuff to me, milo, horlicks, bread. hahaha and i dont knw how to reject so i took them all. seriously, i looked like i just came back from the supermarket or sth. hahaha.

this weekend was an absolute blast! J has off on fri & we walked ard town hunting for cny clothes w lots of good food in between, same goes on sat. met bf also since she was in town to show her the dress i wna get. it was so exhilarating getting new stuff. accessories, clothes, dresses! ((: bless our souls. we were so tired and lazy that we ordereddinner in. sarpinos was awesome btw! yum yum, the photos are alrd making me hungry. J got sooo much cny clothes alr. inside & out. haha. f21 makes me a happy kid yo, 2 dresses & 2 rings! teehee. ;D

since J had complimentary tics for airshow, we decided to take a look. ayeee, if you ask me. it wasnt fantastic, not worth $20 to me. can pay for a classic manicure alrd. it was really crowded, like we had to queue for so much stuff. to sit in the cockpit of a F15 will take about an hr plus, testing out the simulator also another hr plus. magnum ice cream costs $5. scamm! haha. i think the best part was watching the helicopter flying vertically & perhaps the photo w the aust pilot. hahaha.

last weekend was massive g8 gathering! so good that we are still in contact and so close! <3
lots of photos to upload, dinner with g8 at sushi tei again, i think its fast becoming our most fav place for dinner. but well, it was cheap and good. instead of a salad for each one of us, we shared! (:

our nonsense dinner at tree's place. we lazed around on a very lazy friday evening then E drove us to bishan to get our dinner! plan was to buy hawker food but ended up with just oyster omlette, char kway teow,2 bowls of wanton mee and just lots lots of chips! soooo unhealthy. ;/ no satay, no chicken wings! )): but the best thing was it was a full reunion, all members present yay!

today we submitted our smit project(the last one already) in Singapore Polytechnic,
4 more presentations & 4 more papers to my graduation(i hope!)
the week's been pretty relaxing, other than projs & everyone's mad rush for cny shopping.
but guess what i'm all alone at home today, w stuff i can do but am too lazy! so my bad.

cant wait to meet the girls for dinner tmr, at least there's sth to keep me occupied.
well, also helps to stop me from thinking too much yah?
need to meet g & v for cartel soon, but all busy w projs & training. damnnn.

the sun is so good today, i should have gone tanning. but my goggles broke, so i cant go swimming alr. ): wasted! but by the time i pack my stuff, i think the sun will about set. so i shall just go take a nap cos when u are hungry, u shld slp.

i dont know why every now and then i have to go thr the same insecurities, the same worries, the same problems. is it cos they were never solved since the beginning or am i taking it the wrong way? its mentally stressing and i knw v frustrating for you too bt yet i am weak, i dont bear to end things. i dont dare should i say fits better. im afraid my world will crumble into pieces.

but am i not normal? do all these girls out there feel the same worries of their bfs? i can never rest my brain & my heart. im up thinking all the time & they are always negative thoughts. i just cant help thinking how would u go about making the comparisons with the million other girls out on the street, why am i not good enough? will i ever be good enough? you say you love me, but why dont i feel it? why do i feel i cant even match up to the strangers out there, like i am a stranger to you. i cant stand myself too, i hate it when i hv to feel like tt. who wouldnt wnt a pleasant day out? and i knw this will lead to the end one day. i know it will, its just when.

plus my knee's nt getting any better, ive got so many ugly bruises and my hand still burns as much as my heart when i come in contact w water.

djade came over on fri to do RM layout project, yes it was so unfruitful and it looks like primary school work. )): but we still had alot of fun, trying to use much of our creative right brains. haha. saying is so much easier than doing it actually. we started after asm interview at the airport, their well deserved popeyes, then worked our bum off till 12plus.

went cycling at ecp on sat w j & his mateys. haha. wanted to try blading but they plan to cycle all the way to changi which will be hard for beginner blading. sad to say, the day wasnt without injury, wp and i both suffered injuries. wp's one seemed worst cos whole right arm rubbed against some pole or sth which looked rather painful. walked over to parkway for dinner at pastamania. everyone ate like gluttons! haha. to kill time, and help digest our tummies, we topped up $25 for the arcade, i didnt play much though cos my hand was injured. ): they had alot of fun which mattered the most. after tt, headed to bedok for karaoke. omg, it was my virgin experience there and yep, took me awhile to warm up but everyone was nice, trying to choose a song i would knw & helping me out with the "chim-chim' chinese words. haha. i tried sth new!

yeap, i'm supposed to be doing projects. was home the whole day yet i didnt do anything. since 3pm! ;/ everything is in bits and pieces. so v unproductive! have been either browsing for clothes & bags or reading random people's blog, facebook photos.

the coming week must really put in my most effort already!

had dinner w val, gwen and jer on fri ard siglap. was great. we talked non-stop and first time meeting jer after her europe trip with her mozart chocs & magnets we told her to get. hahaha. many many good stories, and the whole drama of gwen. we actually talked till 12 mn! arent we an amazing bunch? hahaha.

sat was at supperclub but my camera's with val. long long story so will update when i get more camera back. hee ;D

this whole week sucks ! all the returning of mst papers, project deadlines, lecturers adding fuel to fire(constant reminder that we're left with 5 weeks to grad?),sleeping for less than 3 hrs every night, arghhh.

talking about projects, we havent interviewed any airline for asm, need to redo for smit & rm is nowhere near halfway done. worst of all project submission is the following week. spend 2 nights working on my cover letter and resume, then realised only need 1 page! havent even started on portfolio even. sighs.

& even more bad news is i am ever more tempted to shop for clothes, bras, panties, heels, bags and eat (junk food, alot alot alot) due to stress. omg twister friezzzz ! ;/

xmas dinner at J's plan was a success on christmas day after all the date changing and stuff. the turkey was huge, that 5 people cant devour it. we also have honey baked ham. christmas is not christmas w/o ham ! ;) hee.

it was a messy dinner, all hands on, pulling of the meat, wrapping your own 'popiahs' and digging into salad. but i like it when you dont have to be conscious about ur looks and ettiquette. thats the fun! after that, they all got to try our super yummy logcake we baked ! ok, it wasnt that yummy, it just looked pretty. (: had presents xchange as well. we did it in open numbers way. slack around, watched some tv, surfed some fb and decided what to do next cos its friday & christmas day, no one wants to go home early. haha. initial plans was movie, karaoke, sheesha but guess what was the plan finally?

yep, dbl 0 which was soooooooooooo empty, and full of weird ppl. really ! hahaha. first time ive been to a club so empty that we had so much room to actually conduct activities. wasnt crowded at all ! drinks were cheap though so thats prolly the plus point why we were there. many more funny photos on fb, which i uploaded sooo bloody long ago. hahaha. ;D

oops, heehee. i still got so many stuff to update on 2009.

djade xmas celebration - dim sum at yumcha was superb, we were so worried abt the buffet timing that once we sat down, we started ordering like typical aunties scared pay so much, never enjoy! not all the dishes were awesome, cos sad to sad im allergic to prawns. there're many stuff i cant have alr. & since J's nt there to dig the prawns out, ill hv to do it myself. siew mai ftw. :D the century egg porridge was nt too bad either, still got alot of stuff we ordered but i cant rmb. most exciting part was the lucky pick for xmas presents xchange. haha. we made such a din in the restaurant that all the tables ard started staring, but thats us. i got bf's present. her trademark kind of specs. haha!

met up with V and gang for ladiesnight since tree's back. theres a massive load of photos we took in just 3hrs! many in very awkward and weird angles as well. haha. many of us met many other people, i met june at arena, while sherrie & val also meet their friends. ohwell, its ladies night for a reason right? the queue was damnnn long though. ;/

its the eve of 2010. finally this yr has ended, i didnt fulfil any of my resolutions but its time to make new ones again. i dont really have to mood to blog about anything, cos no one wants to hear about sad life and rants. and other than that, i dunno whats there to talk about also. 2009 saw many faces, happy and sad, anger and frustration. this was one yr i got to travel so many times.

just a short roundup of 2009 before i go:

jan: was projects month, next mth will be the same. but projs with djade are always a blessing cos we understand each other so well, our strengths and weaknesses which helps to make our life easier as well. cny as usual, but this time w j too.

feb:my first v day celebrated with a guy was quite a memorable experience. bbq & failed camping trip. dee's simple birthday celebration at sakae sushi.

mar: many birthdays! val's birthday surprise at loof then rebel aftertt. grandma's birthday and first time i sat on a motorbike. was a super thrilling experience. daddy's birthday. ITP at sunny holidays starts.

apr: bangkok familiarisation trip with my company. first time travelling abroad w laysing & june & my boss

may: our 6mths dinner at marina mandarin. very awesome food and atmosphere. second trip by my company, starcruise superstar virgo to redang! this time with the usuals and vietnamese girl, melody w/o boss!celebrated my boss' birthday. first time i met j's sec sch friends.

jun: henderson waves, mummy went on holiday for 2 wks without us (first time), cheryl's birthday dinner (also the last time we met up w nic) , got caught at val's condo for sneaking in to use pool.

jul: my biggest birthday celeb crisis. J's 21st bd party at cineleisure, and gwen's bd falls on the same day. rush to places one after another. J's actual birthday celeb tgt.

aug: suppsedly end of itp, post-itp party w djade. very sad news of nic passing on. ): bkk birthday trip w j.

sep: macau trip w dad's relatives and j. sis turn 16. j's hand operation to remove the lump. bd dinner for A and wp.

oct: lantern festival & sparklers w cy& crystal. super many meetups w jer & val. <3>

nov: one yr, went back to nostalgia, dinner at equinox and michael jackson "this is it" at gv gold class. mummy's birthday surprise at dintai fung + hagendazs. jer's belated 19th at brotzeit. bf's belated birthday at hkcafe and club w j & friends. submitted smit proj 1.5 hrs late. ;/

dec: tree's back in sg, met up for lunch, tea and club. the most unforgettable night of my life. agnes' 19th at imperial treasure. getting lost in agnes' car which bonds us even more. A's comms parade made me face my fear. xmas dinner at J's. uncle ly xmas dinner, awesome food. quarrel and quarrel and quarrel. ;/

there still many itsy bitsy events here and there or stuff that only i want to rmb. but basically this is the summary of calendar of 2009. may next yr be even more exciting.

tea on monday with the girls are lovely. 1 caramel was abit small, but v cosy place. we had tea and cakes. the chocolate praline cake was the best, so agrees cheryl ! heee (: camwhored, gossip and shared the fat. they have quite a variety of cakes, from cheesy based, to hazelnut crunch, fruity cakes and tarts. we took the tea special, so not that expensive. haha. after tt, head to search for presents ! ;/

tues was dinner with gwen and val. wenn had to leave earlier for dinner w her family and tangyuan session. it was winter solstice, my mummy prepared tangyuan also. hahaha. and wen actually got lost in 313. shes so adorable. hahaha! ;D we wanted dinner at marche but the queue was soooooooooooo longgg, so settled for some thai place opp. was nt too bad, but alittle pricey for the stuff we got. J's green curry was pretty awesome. (: after tat, carried on with shopping from 313 to takashimaya to wisma then ion.

so fast, its the sunday & about two more weeks to school. j keeps talking about uni, which makes me so nervous and scared. ): ohwell, this weeek has been fantastic, i basically have something to do EVERYDAY, and i love it. haha.

watched avatar 3d on 17th. pretty awesome, luckily the graphics werent lousy otherwise our 3d movie would be such a headache. had a super bad experience last time. frankly, no big deal about 3d. storyline was interesting, one of a kind. and the na'vi ppl are cute okay, i somehow find them very intriguing. yes, i am captivated by weird, queer stuff. hahaa. our huge bag of chips lasted though we kept munchinggg. got my hp after waiting 3hrs at starhub, worth it cos its a pretty phone. my type of colour. (: hee. thanks for waiting w me, despite ur hunger J.

project meeting in sch on fri then we cooked dinner for ourselves. yong tau foo soup! hahaha. was quite awesome okayyyy.

lunch @ sushi tei w g8 cos treeee's back ! (: food was great esp squid tempura. i'm craving for it now actually. haha. it was a quick lunch session cos many of us had progs after. (photos plsss) i headed down to A's commissioning parade. was rather boring but still a big congratulations. dinner at JP w yw & j. never eat at JP kopitiam, waited more than an hr to eat. mentioning it i am going to lodge a complaint right now. the aunties sat there for more than AFEW HOURS just eating keropok. wtf. and another table, the 4 aunties refuse to leave a table & kept sipping on an empty cup. grrrr. ;/
